American Express is giving American Express Card Members an exclusive offer,† redeemable on Nov 30 at qualifying American Express Card accepting small merchants that appear on the Small Business Saturday Map. ‡ To get on the map and be part of the offer, merchants must sign up by Nov 4.
Follow these 3 EASY STEPS TO GET ON THE MAP AND BE PART OF THE OFFER :
1 Visit americanexpress.com/letushelpyou and click “Get started.”
2 Log in with your Merchant Site User ID, or create an account using your Access Code. To obtain your Access Code, please call your merchant services provider.§
3 Include your location(s) on the map by Nov 4 to be part of the offer.
Once you're on the map you can apply for free online ads** that can help promote your business to potential new customers. You'll also have access to personalized signage, social media assets, and more.

Eligible merchants acquired between Aug 1 and Oct 14 will be added to the map automatically and will be part of the offer. Within 3 weeks of acquisition, these merchants will be able to access the map listing page and other free resources.
*Qualifying merchants are those located within the 50 US States or DC that have 25 or fewer locations and a sum total 2012 American Express charge volume not to exceed $5 million. (Businesses located in Puerto Rico and US Virgin Islands must have 10 or fewer locations and a sum total 2012
American Express charge volume not to exceed $500,000 and additionally must not have headquarters in the 50 states or DC.) Businesses in the following industries are excluded: government agencies, public administration, charities, non-profits, trade associations, shopping property management companies, direct sellers, and political organizations. Small businesses that are part of a franchise brand with more than 100 stores are excluded.
Additionally, if a franchise brand has more than 20 corporate-owned units, then the entire brand is excluded. Businesses that accept the Card through Square are not eligible. Merchants that do not have a physical storefront or location are not eligible.

‡The Small Business Saturday Map only features American Express Card accepting small merchants that are qualified to be a part of the Card Member offer. Online-only businesses and businesses without a physical storefront or location do not qualify to be included. The Small Business Saturday Map
will be available from 11/21/13 through 12/1/2013.
